PRETTY UKELELES AND YUMMY COFFEE @ UKE HUB KAFE

We came upon this little cafe accidentally after a grocery run at the nearby SaveMore. My sister, who is obsessed with ukelele, was beside herself in joy. If you're like her, you might really dig this place.

Welcome to Uke Hub Kafe!

The store front is quiet and unassuming. But inside is cool and cozy, with wood panels for walls and succulents as table decor. Guess what--- some of the plants are also for sale, care of Succuland! We ended up getting a couple.

And all around the little cafe are ukeleles!

So many premium ukes from veteran guitar and uke maker, Susing's. And yes, these babies are for sale, too! They are all so beautiful I could cry.

My sister ended up ordering a mason jar of java chip while I ended up with a couple of succulent plants. :) I wish they had non-caffeine drinks for people like me (two words, guys: matcha. frappe.)

There were so many cool ukeleles.

The owner told us that they were an accidental cafe.

The goal was only to be a music shop where people can hang out, but I sure am glad they decided to sell good coffee and sandwiches, too.

These days Uke Hub Kafe hosts various cool happenings like ukelele workshops, paint your own ukelele sessions and jam sessions!

It's awesome that we finally have a chill place in the island where you can just kick back and listen to good music. And so near the airport, too!

Check out their FB Page for a schedule of cool workshops right here.

If you're around Mactan, don't forget to drop by this little cafe that can. :)

Uke Hub Kafe is located at Mactan Arcade, Airport Road, Lapu-Lapu City. Islanders, it's the road that you take when you wanna go to Matumbo. They also have a video on their page on how to get there. Nifty!

See you around!

Love,

K x
