Hi, let's take a break from all our out of town posts for a bit, sit down and talk about very serious stuff. 

Like One Direction's new (and please dear heavens, hopefully not the last) album, Made In The AM! I've been listening to it all the time since it was released a couple of weeks ago. The first time I fully listened to it, I thought I would cry. It was emotionally exhausting, if you are a fan. Yes, dear friends, almost a quarter century in this good earth and I haven't learned anything. I still love boybands. I thought I got over it with Westlife but alas, I am only human after all.

Even if 1D claims that this hiatus is nothing but a break, the album feels like a swansong. Like a goodbye album. It makes me sad and happy at the same time. One Direction, after all, is the soundtrack of all my walks and commutes to and from work for the past couple of years. They're like puppies. They make me happy after an exhausting day. I just crank up Midnight Memories or, on worst case scenarios (like 100 claims calls from a very diligent Indian representative),  What Makes You Beautiful--- and I'm okay again. This album is a more evolved version of MM and it's really good. And weirdly, their sound is more defined without dear beloved Zayn.

Oh babies. This is going to be a long year indeed. 

*world-weary sigh*

On other things, we made it to the #Bloggys2015 finals! I'm sure you've heard me raving all about it. I wasn't able to attend the gala because money matters. The only regret that I have is that maybe James Reid was there. And I wasn't. Ha!

Steal Like An Artist by Austin Kleon is for everyone who's trying to make something work. It's so fun and, yes, inspirational if you want to get some creativity back into your life. Made me cry happy tears. :D

This week is so full of things, I don't know how I'm gonna make them all fit, but I will.

Also, Christmas is coming up soon!

What!

All I want is One Direction.

Hahaha.
