Paoay, Ilocos Norte, 2015

FPJ's Ang Panday stands in stark relief against the hot mid-day sun. All around us were sand. So much sand, so much barren space. And I've never seen a more beautiful sight. It was 800 hectares of sand, and somewhere along the way, we found it. I later ended up losing it permanently on the van ride home from work, a few months later.

Ilocos was one of the best trips I've taken so far. We ended up being caught in a storm (again) but I have no regrets. :)
