Mum and I discovered a nice place while grocery shopping: a quiet nook called Bella's Bites. :)

 The smoothie---too fruity for me but if you like it like that then you are in for a treat. The pasta was divine. Broccoli was fresh and crunchy and the cheese was great. The owner was quick to note that they use only the freshest ingredients. My mum, who loves all that is healthy, absolutely loved it.

The staff's really friendly too. The owners, Steven (who's Australian I think) and Cathy personally takes care of your order and describes the dishes. Cathy even apologized because the WiFi was down when we went there. So nice and accommodating. And to think this place is located at a shy little corner in Marina Mall, surrounded by  pirated DVD shops and RTW stores. Where'd you have to go for service like that? 

Bella's Bites is a perfect place to hang out and catch up with friends, or in my case, mothers. Come over and treat your mama, too. They have a huge menu that goes from hearty soups to coffee so I think your tummy would love to come over and try what they have to offer. And le wallet? Don't worry, everything is actually affordable. :) 

Bella's Bites is located at the Ground Floor, Marina Mall, Pusok Lapu-Lapu City. It's way out back (past Save More), towards the parking lot at the back. Don't miss it! :)
